COLTS CHRISTMAS CAPERS !!

Merry Christmas Polbeth Colts ! The boys finished up for Christmas with a great night bowling at Deer Park . Training will resume Tuesday 9th January at normal times , and the boys have a match on Saturday the 4th of January . Times , team and venue will be posted at a later date. Stevie and Davie would like to take this opportunity in wishing everyone a Merry Christmas and a Happy (and winning !) New year !

RACE NIGHT !!!!

Oh what a night , late September back in 69 , well early December 2006, the massive efforts of the coaches and their familes , and support from the boys families and friends managed to raise the fantastic sum of £1100 !!! A great night was had by all , though this is heresay as no-one is quite sure what happened after 10pm as there was an incident of mass amnesia, nothing of course to do with the amount of alcohol consumed on the night what so ever !!

RECYCLE 4 KIT

Dear Parent/Guardian, We have signed up to Recycle 4 Kit, an innovative recycling campaign in association with the Scottish Football Association and Errea Sportswear which helps us get free strips and equipment through the collection of printer cartridges, mobile phones and PDAs. We receive points for these items which can be exchanged for a wide range of Errea kit and equipment. This helps us keep the football team running and we can use the money usually spent on strips and equipment on other vital resources. You can support our Recycle 4 Kit appeal by donating your own empty printer cartridges, mobile phones and PDAs. We have a collection box for these items Stevie or Davie. So if you normally put empty cartridges in the bin or have an old mobile gathering dust in a drawer please drop them into the us. Not only can collecting these items normally considered as rubbish help our football team, it can also help the environment. Handsets and cartridges contain toxic substances which, if they are dumped in landfill, can leak into the surrounding soil and pollute the earth. When they are collected through Recycle 4 Kit, they will be passed to recycling experts Recycling Appeal who refurbish the products for reuse.
